How does God talk to me?
God speaks to us through His word, the Bible, which is eternal. The Bible says in Psalm 119:89-91, "Your word, O Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulnes continues through all generations; You established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you." God speaks to us through His word to give us guidance. In Psalm 119:104-105 we read, "I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." God speaks to us through our conscience. Psalm 139:1-4 tells us that God searches our thoughts and knows our thoughts before a word is spoken. At the end of this Psalm we are encouraged to ask God to look at our hearts and change anything that may be offensive in our hearts.
